My travel to South Korea

HI folks.....

Like we all have heard and seen on Social media, Seoul is definitely is one of the  most beautiful place where history and technology blend so well enough to take you from being in a historic era to that of an advance nation. I was lucky enough to visit this beautiful city on my way to the US. The trip was planned to cover most of the tourist spots and experience the unique cuisine, cafes, and cultural aspects of the South Korea

As its known, South Korea is not one of the countries which is predominantly English speaking. So i did have my apprehension before planning a travel trip to Seoul and decided to register for a Korean language Course. I was fortunate to find a extremely good teacher, who had mastered the language living in South Korean and found the course which suited my need. On completion of the course and setting out on the Journey, I was confident enough to not only read Korean but also to make small conversation with localities when needed. When I reached Seoul, though there were lot  more people who understood English than i thought. There were also many who were more comfortable when i could also explain what I wanted in Korean. This not only helped me feel at ease during the trip, not feeling out of place, but also made me confident to use all means of transportation from riding the bus, the cab, the sub way, and cable car. It was pretty much useful while visiting most of the traditional tourist spots, ordering food and while asking for direction.

Knowing  the local language is always  an added advantage and makes you feel part fo the place, not to forget the smiling and friendly Korean people who were always ready to help when asked. I am glad  I took the rights decision in taking up the language course which not only enriched my travel experience but also learn another foreign language and culture of a beautiful country.
